Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy sets out what customer information we hold, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with third parties. We abide by and are compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998 (herein referred to as DPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (herein referred to as GDPR) which comes into effect on 25^th May 2018. We are committed to keeping buyers (the Data Subject) personal information secure and confidential.

What data is collected or maybe collected, how it is collected and how long is it stored

Name, Address, Staff Names, delivery address and Email Address is held and stored as detailed under purposes and legal basis for processing data , provided by the data subject and stored until the end of the relationship with the customer.
GDC data of the principal dentist, obtained from GDC Register and stored until the end of the relationship with the customer.

Purposes and Legal basis for processing personal data

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, the processing and storage of your personal data is performed by Survival-32 Ltd solely for the following purposes:

Contract whereby processing is necessary in order to fulfil the customers orders and/or because we have been asked to take specific steps before entering into a contract.
Legal Obligation The MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) guidelines require us to retain data on specific products for the purpose of product recalls. 2. We are required by HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs) to retain financial records for at least 6 years.
Legitimate Interest whereby it is in the interest of the customers health that we retain data for the purpose of contacting them if a healthcare product, we have provided under the contract or before entering a contract (i.e. sample), is issued with a product recall.

How we use your data and how it is shared

We will use personal and business data for the following reasons:

to process and despatch orders
carry out regulatory checks to meet our legal obligations
to prevent and detect crime
undertake internal company statistical analysis

We treat all information we hold about our customers as private and confidential. We will not reveal any personal details or details concerning buyers orders to anyone not connected with Survival-32 Ltd, unless

a customer asks us to reveal the information or we have a customers permission to do so
we are required or permitted to do so by law
it is required by law enforcement or fraud prevention

Who we share your data with:

service providers and other contractors only to fulfil orders customers (the Contract) placed with Survival-32 ltd. e Royal Mail and UPS couriers
Suppliers, where information is requested as part of a promotion, under our contract with the supplier or for the supplier to send additional stock or samples to the customer. No personal information is shared unless authorised by the customer.

Data Subject rights

Under the GDPR data subjects have the following rights regarding data held by Survival-32 Ltd:

the right to access and restrict the personal data held and processed
the right to request rectification of any erroneous data held or to update any data held
the right to data portability
the right to complain about processing carried out
the right to be forgotten

These rights are subject to any legal obligations we may have to comply to.

You may exercise these rights of access, rectification, objection and deletion by contacting us by email at info@survival-32.co.uk or by post at the address stated above, mentioning your full name and address and attaching a copy of your ID, either driving license or passport (photo can be obscured). We are obliged to provide data held by us within 1 calendar month of the request and free of charge. However, we have the right to refuse or charge for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive and repetitive.

Cookies

A cookie is a text file containing information that can be remembered by a web browser between pages. When an individual uses a web browser to access the internet their browser can create cookies which are stored on the user’s computer. Cookies are not programs and therefore cannot contain viruses or other malicious software. They are purely a string of text and numbers.

Session cookies only last during a single visit. When you close your web browser the session cookie information is automatically removed from your computer.

Persistent cookies are stored by the user's web browser even when the web browser has been closed, so that the next time a user goes back to the website that originally set the cookie, the web site can read information back from the cookie. Survival-32 use these cookies to remember which items a customer has put into their cart. By using a persistent cookie for this, a customer can close their web browser and come back to the site subsequently and still be able to access items that had been put into their cart on a previous visit. This cookie is essential for the functioning of the site as without it customers would be unable to place items into the shopping basket.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove this Privacy Policy or parts of it at any time. Therefore, we recommend you to check this Privacy Policy for modifications on a regular basis. The last date of modifications will always be mentioned at the end of this Privacy Policy.
